Planting eucalyptus is another way to encourage cats to seek another place to roam.4 It is toxic to cats, but most cats will generally stay away since they hate the smell. Once your eucalyptus really starts to take off, you should have several extra sprigs to spare for adding to bouquets and hanging above your shower for an aromatherapy experience.

Bidding Terms

Account Setup: Register and add payment details to participate in any auction.
Auction Terms: Each auction requires separate acceptance of its terms before bidding.
No Retractions: All bids are final once submitted. Only bid if you can comply.
Bid Limit: New bidders have a $5,000 limit. Contact Us to increase.
$50 Hold: A $50 card hold is placed with your first bid and may be applied if you default.
Soft Close: Bids placed in the last 2 minutes extend closing time by 2 minutes, until no new bids are placed.
As-Is, Final Sale: All items sold as-is, where-is, with no warranties. No refunds or claims after removal. Inspections recommended when available.

Payment Terms

Due Immediately: Payment is due after auction close. Invoices aren’t charged automatically unless enrolled in Autopay.
How to Pay: Online by credit card, ACH, or wire. In-person with cash/cashier’s check (Woodland office, Mon–Fri). No personal or business checks. Payments not accepted at pickup locations.
Fees & Discounts:

Standard 18% buyer’s premium
3% discount for cash, wire, or transfer
Sales tax based on item location

Late Payment: Unpaid invoices will incur a 15% penalty fee based on your total high bid. Unpaid items may be forfeited and you may lose bidding access.
Credit card fees are non-refundable.

Auction Terms

Buyer Responsibilities: You must handle disassembly, loading, and transport. No help is provided on-site.
Seller Responsibilities: Seller will disconnect electrical/plumbing connections where needed.
Removal: Pickup is by appointment, during designated times. Items left after deadline are forfeited.
Bring to Removal: Paid invoice, photo ID, and credit card used (if applicable).
Authorized Pickup: Submit a Pickup Authorization Form if someone else is removing your items.
Insurance: COI required for buyers or contractors doing on-site removal work.
